Intégration d'API et partage de données avec des tiers

L'application web GreenCast® Connect propose une fonctionnalité d'intégration API (interface de programmation d'application) permettant aux clients de générer une clé API. Cette clé API permet l'intégration des données des capteurs avec des applications tierces. Si vous choisissez d'utiliser cette fonctionnalité, veuillez noter les points suivants :

  • Partage de données : En utilisant la clé API, vous autorisez le partage des données de vos capteurs avec les applications tierces de votre choix. Ces données peuvent inclure, sans s'y limiter, les niveaux d'humidité du sol, les relevés de température et d'autres données environnementales collectées par les capteurs Spiio.
  • Politiques de confidentialité des applications tierces : Toutes les données partagées via l'intégration API seront soumises aux politiques de confidentialité et aux conditions d'utilisation des applications tierces que vous choisissez d'intégrer. GreenCast® Connect is a subscription-based service and on the website, users can sign-up and purchase service plans that include the use of the mobile application in the free Basic tier and paid Advanced tier, and in the paid Premium tier, the use the web application and the mobile application with sensor hardware for turf and landscape activities. To operate and manage the Advanced and Premium paid subscription in a secure and reliable way, we are leveraging Stripe to manage all financial transactions. Personal information refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who you are. When you visit the website and use the application, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the website an operational information gathered by using the solution. API Integration and Third-Party Data Sharing

The GreenCast® Connect web application offers an API (Application Programming Interface) integration feature that allows customers to generate an API Key. This API Key enables the integration of sensor data with third-party applications. If you choose to use this feature, please be aware of the following:

  • Data Sharing: By using the API Key, you are enabling the sharing of your sensor data with third-party applications of your choice. This data may include, but is not limited to, soil moisture levels, temperature readings, and other environmental data collected by Spiio sensors.
  • Third-Party Privacy Policies: Any data shared through the API integration will be subject to the privacy policies and terms of service of the third-party applications you choose to integrate with. We strongly recommend reviewing these policies before proceeding with the integration.
  • API Key Security: You are responsible for the security and proper use of your API Key. Do not share your API Key with unauthorized parties, as it could lead to unauthorized access to your data.
  • Data Processing: While we maintain control over the data within our system, we cannot control how third-party applications process, store, or use the data once it is shared through the API.
  • Liability: Syngenta and its partners are not responsible for any functionalities delivered by third-party applications or any issues that occur on third-party platforms as a result of this integration.
  • Revocation: You have the right to revoke API access at any time by regenerating or deleting your API Key through the GreenCast® Connect web application.
  • Data Retention: The retention and deletion of data shared via the API on third-party platforms is subject to the policies of those platforms and may differ from Syngenta's data retention practices.

By using the API integration feature, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms regarding data sharing and third-party integrations.

How does Syngenta use your Personal Information?

Generally, we use the Personal Information we collect through our website and application:

  • Google, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, service will process your data in the United States, where they are adequately protected by virtue of Google’s certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield.  
  • Text Request LLC., 417 Market St, Suite 201, Chattanooga, TN 37402, USA, provides 10DLC for text messaging services. 
  • Spiio, 470 Ramona St. 94301 Palo Alto, CA, USA for order management and delivery the solution. 
  • Stripe, 54 Oyster Point Boulevard, South San Francisco, CA, 94080, USA, for delivering the web application and website, including all functionalities and services.  
  • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to protect our rights.

Intra-group data transfers. Our parent company, Syngenta Crop Protection AG, based in Basel, Switzerland (“Syngenta Parent”). Syngenta Parent has concluded Intragroup Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) with many of its subsidiaries (Syngenta DP Network), including us, to enable the effective transfer and processing of Personal Information. We use web servers, store and otherwise process Personal Information within the Syngenta DP Network countries. However, we only process your Personal Information for the purposes described and on the legal bases named in this Privacy Policy. If you do not want us to share your Personal Information with another member of the Syngenta family of businesses, you may "opt-out" at any time by sending an email to our Data Privacy Champion at data.privacy@syngenta.com

Business transfers. Your Personal Information may be transferred to a company that has acquired the stock or assets of Syngenta, one of its affiliates, or one of our businesses, for example, as the result of a sale, merger, reorganization or liquidation. We intend to keep your Personal Information accurate and up-to-date. We do not wish to store your Personal Information for any longer than necessary for the relevant purposes in relation to the use of the website and our services.

GreenCast® Connect is a subscription-based service and on the website, users can sign-up and purchase service plans that include the use of the mobile application in the free Basic tier and paid Advanced tier, and in the paid Premium tier, the use the web application and the mobile application with sensor hardware for turf and landscape control activities. To operate and manage the Advanced and Premium paid subscription in a secure and reliable way, we are leveraging Stripe to manage all financial transactions. What Personal Information do we collect? 

Personal information refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who you are. When you visit the website and use the application, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the website an operational information gathered by using the solution. API Integration and Third-Party Data Sharing

The GreenCast® Connect web application offers an API (Application Programming Interface) integration feature that allows customers to generate an API Key. This API Key enables the integration of sensor data with third-party applications. If you choose to use this feature, please be aware of the following:

  • Data Sharing: By using the API Key, you are enabling the sharing of your sensor data with third-party applications of your choice. This data may include, but is not limited to, soil moisture levels, temperature readings, and other environmental data collected by Spiio sensors.
  • Third-Party Privacy Policies: Any data shared through the API integration will be subject to the privacy policies and terms of service of the third-party applications you choose to integrate with. We strongly recommend reviewing these policies before proceeding with the integration.
  • API Key Security: You are responsible for the security and proper use of your API Key. Do not share your API Key with unauthorized parties, as it could lead to unauthorized access to your data.
  • Data Processing: While we maintain control over the data within our system, we cannot control how third-party applications process, store, or use the data once it is shared through the API.
  • Liability: Syngenta and its partners are not responsible for any functionalities delivered by third-party applications or any issues that occur on third-party platforms as a result of this integration.
  • Revocation: You have the right to revoke API access at any time by regenerating or deleting your API Key through the GreenCast® Connect web application.
  • Data Retention: The retention and deletion of data shared via the API on third-party platforms is subject to the policies of those platforms and may differ from Syngenta's data retention practices.

By using the API integration feature, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these terms regarding data sharing and third-party integrations.

How does Syngenta use your Personal Information?

Generally, we use the Personal Information we collect through our website and application:

Data processors.   • Google, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, service will process your data in the United States, where they are adequately protected by virtue of Google’s certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield.  
  • Text Request LLC., 417 Market St, Suite 201, Chattanooga, TN 37402, USA, provides 10DLC for text messaging services. 
  • Spiio, 470 Ramona St. 94301 Palo Alto, CA, USA for order management and delivery the solution. 
  • Stripe, 54 Oyster Point Boulevard, South San Francisco, CA, 94080, USA, for delivering the web application and website, including all functionalities and services.  
  • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to protect our rights.

Intra-group data transfers. Our parent company, Syngenta Crop Protection AG, based in Basel, Switzerland (“Syngenta Parent”). Syngenta Parent has concluded Intragroup Data Transfer Agreements (IDTAs) with many of its subsidiaries (Syngenta DP Network), including us, to enable the effective transfer and processing of Personal Information. We use web servers, store and otherwise process Personal Information within the Syngenta DP Network countries. However, we only process your Personal Information for the purposes described and on the legal bases named in this Privacy Policy. If you do not want us to share your Personal Information with another member of the Syngenta family of businesses, you may "opt-out" at any time by sending an email to our Data Privacy Champion at data.privacy@syngenta.com

Business transfers. Your Personal Information may be transferred to a company that has acquired the stock or assets of Syngenta, one of its affiliates, or one of our businesses, for example, as the result of a sale, merger, reorganization or liquidation. If such a transfer occurs, the acquiring company's use of your Personal Information will still be subject to this policy and the privacy preferences you have expressed to us.

Compliance with laws and protection of our rights and the rights of others. We may disclose Personal Information when this is necessary to comply with the laws and regulations, a court order or a subpoena. We may also disclose Personal Information to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to enforce or apply our online terms of use or other agreements with you; or to protect our own rights or property or the rights, property or safety of our users or others.

Aggregate information. We may share aggregated demographic or survey information with third parties, but this information is in anonymous form and does not contain any Personal Information. The aggregate information that we share may include anonymous information that is captured through the use of cookies and other similar tracking technology.

Responses 

We will respond to your reasonably specified request as quickly as possible after validating the request. We will without undue delay modify your Personal Information if we agree that it is either inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, after taking into account the purposes for which it was collected. If we correct it and had previously disclosed it to a third party, we will also notify that third party if required to by law. If we disagree with your request to correct your Personal Information, we will explain the reason for refusal and the ways you can complain.

How long does Syngenta store your Personal Information?

We intend to keep your Personal Information accurate and up-to-date. We do not wish to store your Personal Information for any longer than necessary for the relevant purposes in relation to the use of the website and our services. 

How long we need to keep your Personal Information depends on the purpose for which we collect it, and therefore there is no standard retention period. Thus, the retention period may vary depending on the circumstances. 

For evidentiary purposes, in particular to be prepared for legal disputes, we may store your Personal Information for a period of time after you delete your account as long as this is permissible and necessary given the statutes of limitations in your country, so our retention period may vary depending on the circumstances.
